Distal Femur Malunion and End-Stage Knee Arthrosis Treated with Deformity Correction and Staged Total Knee Arthroplasty
摘要
Distal femoral malunions with associated end-stage knee arthrosis may require a corrective osteotomy if a neutral mechanical axis cannot be restored with the intra-articular cuts made during arthroplasty. In the current case, a staged multiplanar osteotomy with intramedullary nail fixation followed by total knee arthroplasty was performed.
