Trifocal Tandem Tibial Bone Transport and Knee Stabilization using the Ilizarov Method
摘要
This is a case of a 9-year-old male with a massive open segmental tibial loss with a large overlying soft tissue defect. He underwent limb salvage with acute shortening then trifocal tandem bone transport using the Ilizarov method. A portion of his bone defect was treated with grafting after induced membrane technique. During the consolidation phase, a hexapod extension was used to manage a knee flexion contracture.
