Trifocal Tandem Transport for Proximal Tibial Bone Defect and Fracture Dislocation of the Knee
摘要
We present a 16 year old male who was in a hurricane accident. He was transferred to our center for definitive care. He injuries included a type IIIB tibial plateau fracture with an associated 9 cm of metaphyseal bone loss. In addition, he had an ipsilateral fracture dislocation of the knee, and proximal tibiofibular dislocation. He was treated with trifocal bone transport using circular fixation. The knee joint was spanned and the tibial plateau fracture was repaired during treatment.
