Computer Assisted External Fixation and then Nailing at Both Lower Legs Non-unions Accompanied with Complex Deformities
摘要
This article reports on a case of staged use of external and internal fixation in a patient with bilateral lower leg hypertrophic tibial nonunions. By first stage of treatment gradual correction of both lower legs deformities by two computer-assisted Ortho-SUV Frames were performed. The second stage was executed after alignment had been corrected. This involved the use of internal fixation of both tibias with locking nails.
