V Osteotomy of the Foot

A 17 year old male with equinovarus cavus deformityEquino-varus cavus deformity of the right foot with tibial hemimelia, arthrodesis of the ankle, and 13 cm shortening of the leg was treated by V osteotomy of the footV osteotomy of foot and proximal tibial lengthening. Osteotomies through the posterior calcaneus, talus and anterior calcaneus, and proximal tibia and fibula were progressively distracted for lengthening and realignment with circular external fixation.
