摘要

This case is about a male patient with acquired post-traumatic foot dropPost-traumatic foot drop and equinovarusEquinovarus foot and ankle contracture with claw toes. These were sequelae of a fractured tibial plateau with compartment syndromeCompartment syndrome. Correction of the deformity was achieved by soft tissue releases Soft tissue releasesof the gastrocnemius-soleus complex contributing to the equinus as well as the medial tendons contributing to the varus deformity. This was accompanied by Taylor spatial frame (TSF)Taylor Spatial Frame (TSF) application for staged correction of the varus deformity followed by correction of the equinus. Claw toes were managed by percutaneous flexor tendon releases and pinning. At frame removal, a posterior tibial tendon transfer was performed. This resulted in a plantigrade foot with very good functional outcome.
