Radial Shaft Chronic Osteomyelitis Treated with Resection, Radial Osteotomy, and Bone Transport Using a Monolateral Fixator
摘要
Case report of a 65-year-old male with chronic osteomyelitis of the radial shaft and loss of wrist and finger extensor muscles in the forearm. The patient underwent debridement and resection of 4 cm in the radial shaft, followed by bone and skin transport using a monolateral fixator. After 8 weeks, bone grafting of the docking site with skin grafting was performed with the use of an intramedullary femoral bone graft.
