Forearm Correction and Differential Ulnar Lengthening Using Frame Within a Frame
摘要
This case illustrates an approach to a young weightlifter with a painful wrist due to childhood excision of a benign tumor leading to an unsupported ulnar carpus. The notable concept in his care was to address his radius and ulna deformities independently but simultaneously, using a single frame with two different adjustment strategies. Keeping the two adjustment mechanisms clearly differentiated helped the patient successfully perform the adjustments to completion without error.
