Double Level Osteotomy of the Femur for Severe Genu Valgum with Femoral Retroversion
摘要
This is a case of a 19-year-old male with bilateral knee pain as a result of genu valgum and retroversion – both of femoral origin. His deformity was treated with staged double level femoral osteotomies with simultaneous derotation through a transverse diaphyseal osteotomy with nail fixation and an opening wedge distal femoral osteotomy with plate fixation. The expected leg length inequality was managed with an internal lengthening nail at the time of his second sided surgery.
