Osseointegration Amputation Reconstruction Femur
摘要
This case presents a 46-year-old female who underwent a left above knee amputation after being struck by a car. The patient received an osseointegration implant along with extensive soft tissue excision to create a streamlined skin stoma. After successful implantation, the patient underwent a gradual postoperative weight-bearing protocol. The implant completely integrated into the residual bone. She received a prosthetic leg with a microprocessor-controlled knee to support near-normal ambulation.
