Acute Deformity Correction and Limb-Lengthening After Allograft Reconstruction for Sarcoma

  • Lee M. Zuckerman

摘要

A 7-year-old presented with a Ewing’s sarcoma of the left femur. She underwent neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by limb salvage surgery with an intercalary allograft. The distal osteotomy site went on to nonunion with failure of hardware. At 10 years of age, the patient underwent revision with a plate. She subsequently developed a limb length discrepancy with a valgus and procurvatum deformity of the femur and was treated with a corrective osteotomy and lengthening at the age of 13.
