All Internal Limb-Lengthening After Hemipelvectomy for Sarcoma Resection

A 10-year-old presented with a Ewing’s sarcoma of the right hemipelvis. He underwent neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by limb salvage surgery with an internal hemipelvectomy. The patient subsequently developed a limb length discrepancy and used a custom shoe with a 5 cm lift. When the patient was 22 years of age, he underwent limb lengthening and is able to ambulate using regular shoes without an assistive device.
