Leg Length Discrepancy Combined with Shepherd’s Crook Deformity in Polyostotic Fibrous Dysplasia
摘要
Bone deformity accompanied with leg length discrepancy that occurred in a patient with polyostotic fibrous dysplasia was treated with two-staged surgeries. Femoral shortening accompanied with deformity of the distal femur can be treated simultaneously using a retrograde approach. During the fixation using metal implant, one should be cautious where there is a cortical thinning from fibrous dysplasia.
