This section presents a case of a 16 year old female with a 9 cm femoral shortening who had treated with “sandwich techniqueSandwich technique” for poor bone regeneration that developed after lengthening with a motorized nail. The patient was subsequently treated with a retrograde Precice (Ellipse Technologies, Irvine, CA, USA) lengthening nail at fresh frozen allograft site to equalize leg lengths.
