Oncologic Emergencies
摘要
Oncologic emergencies are acute, possibly life-threatening medical issues that arise from cancer itself, or from cancer treatment-related complications. Common oncologic emergencies that are pharmacologically managed include febrile neutropenia, skeletal-related events (including hypercalcemia of malignancy, and malignant spinal cord compression), tumor lysis syndrome, and immune effector cell therapy-related toxicities (including cytokine release syndrome and immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity syndrome).
