Pulmonary Infections in People with HIV
摘要
As the global HIV epidemic advances, persons living with HIV (PWH) are aging. With aging comes chronic medical conditions including pulmonary conditions. In this chapter we discuss the evolving landscape of pulmonary conditions among PWH on antiretroviral therapy (ART) including bacterial pneumonia, fungal pneumonia, tuberculosis and nontuberculous mycbacteria, and common respiratory viral infections, as well as the challenges associated with caring for PWH during critical illness.
