Personalized surgery with patient-specific solutions will be the future of orthopaedics. The adoption of 3D Technology will redefine orthopaedic surgery. 3D technology has revolutionized the medical device industry and orthopaedic surgeries. In instances, it is imperative for an orthopaedic surgeon to provide out-of–the-box customized solutions in the form of preoperative solutions, jigs, and implants to optimize the anatomy and function. Osteointegration and intra-articular solutions for complex orthopaedic surgeries where surgeon has no option of off-the-shelf implant; Patient-specific Implant provides best solutions. There are various defects in the bony structure in onco-orthopaedics, trauma, and arthroplasty cases where optimized solutions can only be obtained by patient-specific implants. Designing and manufacturing is art and engineering in combination. In cases of complex deformities in paediatric or adult orthopaedic patients, preoperative planning and making guiding jigs and instruments play a very important role in achieving perfect and precise correction in all three axes.
