This chapter examines the resurgence and evolution of feminist movements in Italy from 2010 to 2021, highlighting their increasing presence in public spaces, institutions, and policy influence. The chapter explores the diverse range of feminist collectives, groups, and associations that emerged, including those focusing on queer theory, gender-based violence, reproductive rights, and intersectionality. A significant portion of the analysis is dedicated to the impact of the transnational feminist movement, particularly the influence of the Argentinian “Ni Una Menos” on the Italian “Non Una Di Meno” (NUDM). The chapter also delves into the organizational models adopted by these movements, which emphasize horizontal decision-making and grassroots coalitions. Additionally, it discusses the challenges posed by the rise of anti-gender and anti-feminist movements in Italy. Through a detailed exploration of the Italian feminist movement’s organizational strategies, repertoires of action, and framing of issues, the chapter highlights the innovative and resilient nature of contemporary Italian feminism.
