General Gynaecology OSCE Stations
摘要
I have been apparently well until 3 months ago when I noticed my menses had reduced flow. Since then it has gradually reduced to mere one day of spotting of blood. I used to see my menses for 4 days and had to use 2–3 sanitary pads a day. I also experience severe lower abdominal pains when the menses comes and I use feldene (Piroxicam) capsules to relief the pain. Earlier on I had a miscarriage of a 3 months pregnancy for which I was seen in a private hospital and my womb was washed. I was discharged home on some tablets but had to return after 3 days with fever, lower abdominal pain, and foul smelling vaginal discharge. I was taken to the theatre again, and my womb was washed because they did a scan which showed some parts of the pregnancy remaining inside my womb. The first procedure was done using a big syringe, and I was awake even though they gave me an injection. The second procedure was done after I was put to sleep. I was given some drip (IVF) and injections with some relief and was discharged home after 2 days on some capsules and tablets for one week. The pain and discharge subsided but my first menses after that was scanty and it lasted 3 days.
