摘要

Universal precaution is a set of recommendations aimed at reducing the risk of transmission of pathogens from patients to caregivers and vice versa. In universal precaution, all patients are considered potentially infected and therefore equally treated. Because health workers come in contact with all kinds of patients, all should be immunized against the common communicable diseases such as hepatitis B virus, tuberculosis, influenza, measles, rubella, and varicella and more recently COVID 19 virus.
