The patient with renal transplant (station 1.6 ) eventually got pregnant and booked for antenatal care. At 30 weeks gestation, she was admitted into the antenatal ward with pre-eclampsia. You are the registrar on call and have been called by the midwife to come and review her with some investigation results which were earlier requested that day. When you saw her, her BP170/110 mmHg, PCV 21%, platelets 40, ALT 460, AST 360, proteinuria 3+, and creatinine 260umol/L: Answer the questions which follow to the examiners.
