Anemia Management in Home Hemodialysis

The processes of anemia management in home hemodialysis are similar to in-center traditional hemodialysis. There are important and often practical differences that need to be enumerated. In this chapter anemia management, iron supplementation, erythropoietin stimulating agents, and the newer hypoxia-inducing factor/prolyl hydroglass inhibitors are reviewed. Key points differing between in-center and home hemodialysis processes are pointed out.
