Maintenance of Transformers and Reactors
摘要
As soon as a transformer or reactor is in operation, a maintenance strategy is applied. An optimised maintenance strategy will provide the required levels of reliability and availability over the operational life of the transformer at minimum cost. The aim of a good maintenance strategy is to detect developing problems before they cause unnecessary damage, including detecting initial equipment design issues. A good maintenance strategy includes both management and technical actions, to retain a transformer or reactor in, or restore it to, a state in which it can perform as required. These are essential in achieving the planned life of the transformer or reactor, and may provide a basis for life extension when the planned life is reached.
