Management of Sound Levels for Transformers and Shunt Reactors in Service
摘要
This chapter describes the origin of transformer and shunt reactor sound; explains how sound is characterised; considers different possible external sound control measures applicable to transformers and shunt reactors; and then considers differences between transformer and shunt reactor sound levels at site. Special emphasis is placed on measures which are applicable to existing transformers and shunt reactors, including use of different types of barrier or building. Special emphasis is also placed on electrical operating conditions which may affect sound levels on existing transformers and shunt reactors.
