摘要

Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP; http://childparentpsychotherapy.com ) is an evidence-based treatment for children 5 years and younger and their caregivers that treats trauma symptoms by restoring the child’s sense of security through the parent–child relationship. This chapter describes the theoretical foundation of the model, the research supporting it, and special challenges to consider. The case example of the parent–child dyad presented demonstrates CPP phases of treatment and strategies, and highlights hope and repair while addressing the painful traumas that occur to young children.
