摘要

This chapter describes the main principles and models of active system control. We: • Analyse features of existing control schemes systems to ensure that the good are retained and the bad eliminated. • Introduce the principle of active system control (PASC). • Set out the theoretical principles of active system control, including means of implementation. • Investigate the possibility and specific features of PASC implementation at the various levels of PASC: operational life of the aircraft, each individual flight and PASC itself, i.e. its application in-the-large, medium, and small. • Analyse the limits of PASC implementation in terms of reliability modelling. • Propose a practical process model for on-board active control monitoring. • Define the theoretical background for specifications of PASC implementations. The aspects regarding the practical application and algorithmically defined implementation of PASC are described in further chapters.
