Non-pharmacologic Interventions in Gut PD
摘要
This chapter overviews the non-pharmacologic options available to patients with gut PD. Either used alone or in combination with other modalities, many of these interventions can provide a therapeutic benefit and important quality of life gains that may be transiently or chronically implemented, as needed. These interventions may involve dietary adjustments, physiotherapy or endoscopic therapy, antibiotics, or even fecal microbiota transplantation. Although experience with these options is limited, their general tolerability and safety make them attractive and effective in many refractory patients.
