Normal Gut Structure and Function
摘要
In this chapter, we review how the gut works to provide a seamless digestion and how it interacts with the bacterial flora (microbiome). The interaction between the gut and the microbiome is key in gut PD, contributing to disease induction and evolution, and has implications for therapy.
