Evolution

This chapter outlines a pragmatic overview of the evolution of gut PD, identifying factors that affect its severity, and it provides a guide to patients, caretakers, physicians, and other providers for the often-long journey to be taken. Effective and transparent patient–provider ex4change can be best accomplished when the issues are well addressed from multiple perspectives, always keeping the long-haul view overarching.
