The repeatability of producing parts, structure, assembly, mechanism, and machine based on automation leading to higher productivity with less dependency on workers is the key factor that led to the invention of the Numerical Control Machine and Special Purpose Machine. Today, discrete manufacturing is being advanced by pillars of Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0. Manufacturing for SMEs is the backbone of any industrial economy, and it encourages setting up small manufacturing units with local job creation and contribution to local, provincial, and federal government through paying taxes and dropping the pressure on foreign exchange reserves by reducing imports. This socio-economic benefit leads to less muscle and brain drain.
