It has reached to a level where carbon footprint, sourcing, costing with optimized design alternatives for reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety at different manufacturing sites with optimal supply chain of raw material along with interface to PLM and MES software is possible. Product Life Assessment (PLA) is available and complete product life cycle (from Cradle-to-Grave) with change of hands even among countries (e.g. planes and automobiles) is possible through complete record keeping with possibility to use Blockchain, a pillar of Industry 4.0.
