Securing Child Health Records with RSA-Encrypted NFTs and Smart Contract on the Blockchain
摘要
The landscape of pediatric healthcare management is undergoing significant transformation with the adoption of digital technologies. Traditional health record systems, characterized by their reliance on paper-based documentation and manual processes, are increasingly being viewed as inadequate for the demands of modern healthcare. This paper introduces a novel framework that utilizes blockchain technology, RSA-encrypted Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), and smart contracts to address the critical need for enhanced security and accessibility in child health records management. Drawing on the decentralization, transparency, and immutability of blockchain, along with the robust data protection offered by RSA encryption, our framework proposes a secure, efficient, and tamper-proof method for managing and accessing pediatric health information. Evaluation scenarios underscore the framework’s effectiveness in RSA key generation, encryption/decryption processes, and integration with decentralized storage solutions like the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS). Our findings highlight the framework’s potential to improve the management of child health records significantly, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and easy access for authorized parties.
