Principles of Upper Extremity Reconstruction Following Soft-Tissue Sarcoma Resection
摘要
Soft-tissue sarcomas (STS) of the upper extremity are rare, accounting for less than a third of all cases [1, 2]. Often, these tumors are located in the arm and proximal forearm, and less commonly in the hand [3–6]. Due to the association between tumor location and activity limitations [7], treatment for upper extremity STS can have a substantial impact on the patients quality of life.
