This study examines the potential of blockchain technology to address challenges in organ donation supply chain management. Traditional centralized systems face limitations in transparency, efficiency, and scalability. We evaluate four Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-supported platforms-Binance Smart Chain, Fantom, Polygon, and Celo-for their suitability in improving organ donation processes. The research focuses on transaction efficiency, cost-effectiveness, scalability, and accessibility. We also explore the integration of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) for secure data management. Our comparative analysis aims to identify optimal blockchain solutions for enhancing transparency, efficiency, and trust in organ donation systems. The findings contribute to the ongoing efforts to improve organ transplantation outcomes and may inform future implementations of blockchain technology in healthcare supply chain management.
