Global Shifts for Children and Young People’s Participation
摘要
Chapter 3 examines six global shifts and opportunities that may either enable or hinder the ability of children and young people to participate in public decision-making: the decline of the civic space, the emerging literature on decolonising children’s participation, the emergence of child-led activism, the growth of digital media, the need to identify who is excluded from participation spaces using an intersectional lens and the demand for children’s political representation.
