Managing the medical nutrition therapy of children undergoing treatment for cancer can be daunting. During cancer treatment there are many side effects that may hinder the provision of adequate nutrients for proper growth and development. Understanding the current guidelines for nutritional management of pediatric oncology patients may prove to be of assistance to clinicians working with these patients. This chapter will provide guidelines on nutrition screening and the provision of medical nutrition therapy for the pediatric oncology patient.
