This report provides a selection of recent results from the physics programme of the ATLAS collaboration, covering a wide spectrum of research areas. The analyses presented use proton-proton collision data from the LHC. With the increase of the integrated luminosity, improved inputs from theory and the exploitation of new techniques, ATLAS increases the precision of measurements and extends the search for new physics to remote regions of the phase space.
