Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a prevalent psychiatric disorder among children, with a significant impact on academic performance and social interactions. Conventional treatments, while helpful, cannot fully address the complex needs of children with ADHD. This study aimed to design a home rehabilitation training toy tailored to the characteristics of ADHD children to complement existing treatment modalities. By exploring current treatment modalities, including sensory integration comprehensive training, and conducting user research with parents of ADHD-diagnosed children, this research ensured the relevance and effectiveness of the designed toy. The product design concept was grounded in theories of sensory integration training, aiming to create A-Rounding relay, a toy that facilitates rehabilitation training through play within the home environment. The design implementation involved the creation of a toy featuring a ring-shaped track with LED strips and rotating blocks, promoting sensory stimulation and therapeutic exercises. Human-computer interaction considerations ensured optimal usability for children with ADHD. System Usability Scale (SUS) was used to assess the satisfaction level of children with ADHD regarding the toy and their understanding of its gameplay mechanism. Results indicated excellent usability of A-Rounding relay and satisfaction levels among participants. Future work will focus on developing a functional prototype and investigating the effectiveness of the product in training children with ADHD using assessment tools from the medical field.
