Comparative Research on Digital Design for Spring Festival and Christmas
摘要
As the core carrier of culture, festivals concisely and profoundly display the essence of regional culture through diverse forms such as clothing, food, rituals, music and dance. These elements not only have the value of academic research, but also are important symbols of cultural identity and cultural inheritance. The Spring Festival and Christmas are the most important traditional festivals in China and the Europe and America, and their festive elements are also regarded as important traditional cultural symbols in China and Europe and America. The differences between the festive elements of the Spring Festival and Christmas stem from four aspects: world outlook and way of thinking, religious attitude, interpersonal relationships, and cultural inheritance methods. However, currently, comparative studies on the festive digitization of Spring Festival and Christmas are rare. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore the different advantages and uniqueness of the two cultures in digital design by analyzing how Chinese, European and American designers deal with design challenges with unique cultural backgrounds. Promote the digital design of traditional festivals between the two cultures through comparative research, and use traditional festivals as an opportunity to promote cross-cultural exchanges between the two cultures.
