With the swift advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technology and the escalating prevalence of online transactions, AI chatbots have become ubiquitous in e-commerce and various other sectors. In numerous e-commerce contexts, the widespread deployment of AI chatbots can result in substantial cost and time savings. Serving as a vital conduit between consumers and businesses, the implementation of AI chatbots significantly influences consumers’ purchasing decisions and compliant behaviors, contingent upon the quality of service provided. Hence, it is critical to investigate the relationship between AI chatbots and consumers’ propensity for service engagement and compliant behavior. This research establishes a theoretical framework wherein the information quality and interaction quality of AI chatbots are positioned as independent variables, with customer compliance and consumer purchase intentions as dependent factors. A survey was meticulously crafted for empirical investigation. Post-analysis, the ensuing conclusions were deduced: the quality of information positively affects perceived trust; the quality of interaction exerts a substantial positive effect on perceived usefulness and trust; perceived usefulness significantly enhances user compliance, yet its influence on purchase intent remains insignificant; trust positively influences both user compliance and purchase intent. Based on these findings, this study endeavors to proffer strategic recommendations and guidelines for the optimal utilization of chatbots within e-commerce platforms.

摘要
