摘要

University teaching methods have evolved in recent years. The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the process of testing new pedagogical techniques and methods. It has stimulated global changes in the context and teaching methods of many academic disciplines of higher education at the beginning of the 21st century. This has determined the interest of theorists and practitioners of pedagogy in the study of the application of storytelling in higher education. The authors have attempted to conduct a systematic review of research using the tools of https://www.lens.org , which provides free and open patent and scientific search, analysis and comparison of scientific research. The authors reviewed publications on the use of storytelling in higher education from 2014 to 2023. The studies were categorized into two groups: traditional storytelling and digital storytelling. The authors made an attempt to systematise the studies according to the following components: form of storytelling, country of experimentation, direction of experimentation, sampling, methods of verification, outcome and direction of education. In the studied articles, the authors of the studies obtained different results of the evaluation of the effectiveness of the use of storytelling in higher education. The results were grouped and identified as psychological (motivation, engagement); applied (experience, skills, competences); social (ownership, interaction, tolerance); creative (creativity, creativity); reflective (thinking, reflection). The review of studies shows a wide range of opportunities for the application of different forms of storytelling in higher education due to the availability of these tools.
