Artificial Intelligence as Creator of an Over-Normative Reality
摘要
The author investigates how the presence of artificial intelligence affects the perception of reality and forms a new over-normative reality. The article analyzes the changes occurring under the influence of AI and identifies the features of the new over-normative reality. In the article, the author concludes that modern space is becoming increasingly complex and unpredictable, which requires new approaches to the perception and understanding of the world around us. The study uses the approach of “speculation” with AI in the course of dialog, while dialog with AI is used as a tool for revealing ontological features of AI. The article proposes that Artificial Intelligence is a creator of over-normative reality. It does so by introducing this proposition as a hypothesis in the course of dialog with AI: the new reality (digital) is over-normative. In the study, the concept of over-normative reality is derived as a term defining the reality that goes “beyond the boundaries” of conventional reality, norms for such reality are determinative, because it is from them that over-normative reality is constructed. At the same time, this normativity is not new, it is “over.” Just as Latin America with its magical realism is not a new (improved) version of European reality, but a different, over-normative reality, so our contemporary reality is not new but different. In the study, we refer to Derrida’s notion of the ghost, and conclude that AI is a ghost that is capable of a ceaseless and endless production of ghosts. We also note that AI retains the signs of normativity, but the machine “transcends” normativity by augmenting it with its capabilities.
