Boxing—Fight or Write
摘要
Boxing is a key concern in the history of literary sports journalism. The journey from William Hazlitt’s seminal The Fight (1822) to Norman Mailer’s book of the same name about Muhammad Ali and George Foreman’s ‘Rumble in the Jungle’ is navigated, with Ali himself emerging as the central sports figure around whom so many writers have gathered and about whom so much literary journalism has been produced.
