Knowledge Management, Spirituality, and Practical Wisdom
摘要
This study examines the convergence between knowledge management, practical wisdom, and spirituality in the context of higher education institutions. This integrative literature review blends the SECI model (socialization, exteriorization, combination, and internalization), knowledge risk management, Theory of Knowledge Fields, practical wisdom (phronesis), and spirituality. The debate reveals the value of an integrated practice combining knowledge risk management, practical wisdom, and spirituality in the context of higher education institutions. This integrative review brings new perspectives to knowledge management in higher education institutions. This integration brings additional value to the debate rather than addressing them in isolation, such as the current approaches. The study concludes that combining knowledge management with spirituality and practical wisdom in higher education institutions fosters an environment conducive to creating and sharing knowledge with purpose and meaning that is valuable to society while contributing to the sustainability of higher education institutions. This study offers pioneering perspectives to the literature on higher education and knowledge management. It also provides novel insights into responsible knowledge management and its approach in higher education.
