Justice as Wholeness
摘要
This chapter presents an Indic framework for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ) by integrating four foundational spiritual-philosophical principles— Dharma (ethical alignment), Tattvam (essence), Ānanda (joy), and Pūrṇam (wholeness). Rather than approaching DEIJ through the lens of identity politics or institutional compliance, the authors propose an ontological reframing grounded in Indian wisdom traditions. Drawing from texts such as the Bhagavad Gītā, Upaniṣads, and Rig Veda, and engaging with figures like Gandhi and Sri Aurobindo, the chapter explores how inclusion can emerge from spiritual discernment, inner clarity, and systemic harmony. It reflects on a deeper ethic of Dharmāgraha—a sacred insistence on justice rooted in discernment, compassion, and presence. Practical applications in education, leadership, and community engagement are outlined, and comparative references to Christian mysticism and global spiritual traditions deepen the interfaith resonance. The chapter offers a path for cultivating inner diversity as a foundation for enduring social transformation.
