Role of ctDNA in the Management of Gallbladder Cancer
摘要
Molecular diagnostics have enabled significant strides in the treatment of gallbladder and biliary tract cancers (BTCs), leading to the regulatory approval of numerous targeted therapies. Genomic analysis has revealed that biliary tract neoplasms are not a monolith but a heterogeneous group of tumors with distinct alterations that drive their biology and can be targeted for therapeutic benefit. While cancer diagnosis and traditional biomarker analysis have relied on histopathology and tissue sampling, emerging genomic technologies have enabled the broader clinical use of ctDNA assays.
