It demonstrates how Islamic principles, when they coalesce with faith-informed practices in contemporary Islamic schools, can enhance the holistic development of learners. The spiritual connection to Allah, embodied through worship and adherence to the Shari’ah, is the foundation for mental clarity and physical health. Furthermore, the book underscores the importance of social-environmental wellbeing, which involves a Muslim’s role as a steward of the earth, ensuring ethical and just interactions within the community. The governance and leadership in Islamic schools were identified as crucial in fostering a school culture conducive to wellbeing, with effective governance models promoting transparency and accountability.
