The temporotegmental tract (TTT) connects the superior colliculus with the anterior temporal lobe. It originates in the superior colliculus, passes anteriorly and laterally and close to the lateral geniculate nucleus, and then the temporal stem, superior and lateral to the hippocampus. TTT then sweeps anteriorly in the temporal lobe and terminates in the deep white matter of the anterior temporal lobe and pole.

摘要

The temporotegmental tract (TTT) connects the superior colliculus with the anterior temporal lobe. It originates in the superior colliculus, passes anteriorly and laterally and close to the lateral geniculate nucleus, and then the temporal stem, superior and lateral to the hippocampus. TTT then sweeps anteriorly in the temporal lobe and terminates in the deep white matter of the anterior temporal lobe and pole.
