Posterior Thalamic Radiation
摘要
The posterior thalamic radiation (PTR) connects the posterior thalamus with the occipital lobe. A large component of this radiation arises from the pulvinar and lateral geniculate nucleus. From the thalamus, the PTR then extends posteriorly within the sagittal stratum and then fans out horizontally, to terminate in the lateral and medial occipital lobe.
