Meningiomas and Hormone-Related Clinical Conditions

Several epidemiological and pathological findings suggest that the female sex hormones may be risk factors for meningioma development. However, the role of pregnancy, oral contraceptives, and fertilization therapies is still controversial. This chapter focuses on the clinical and therapeutic implications correlated with the sex hormone influence on meningiomas.
